The program
Leading the way to peace, together.
Launched in 2020 with the Kofi Annan Foundation and financial support from the European Union, "Leading the Way to Peace – Youth Together for Social Cohesion" set out to strengthen the networks and capacities of youth-led civil society organizations in preventing violent extremism and building peace.
The program ran in the National Capital Region, Zamboanga City, Sulu, Marawi City, and Davao, reaching youth in some of the communities most exposed to conflict and extremist recruitment.
Extremely Together is a global alliance of youth leaders founded by former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan; KRIS co-founder Arizza Nocum is one of ten young leaders worldwide chosen to help lead it.
